The Land — Sattva, Svasti, Param
Three campuses in the Vellikonda foothills, each offering its own angle on the same sacred field.
Sattva Campus — Ekam City
Sattva Campus is 82 km from Chennai International Airport. It is nestled at the foothills of the ancient Vellikonda Range — a stretch of mountains forming the eastern flank of the Eastern Ghats in southeastern Andhra Pradesh. The landscape is shaped by majestic hills rising out of expansive open plains, a harmonious blend of rugged terrain and tranquil beauty.
With these mountains estimated to be over 500 million years old, the area carries a profound sense of timelessness. The hills cradle Ekam in dense forests, rocky outcrops, and gentle slopes that open onto sweeping vistas of the countryside. Misty mornings reveal layers of hills bathed in golden light; evenings turn the sky crimson behind the ancient peaks.
The grandeur of the Vellikonda Range invites a sense of humility and connection — a place to slow down, breathe deeply, and rest in the simplicity of the earth.
A walk through Sattva Campus
Svasti Campus
Svasti rests in the gentler folds of the same Vellikonda foothills, surrounded by working farmland and small village settlements that have grown alongside the land for generations. Where Sattva crowns a hilltop with sweeping vistas, Svasti sits in a quieter pocket — closer to the rhythms of rural Andhra, with the sounds of cattle, distant temple bells, and the wind through paddy fields shaping the day.
The campus is intentionally designed for accessible immersion. Rooms are simple and clean, common spaces breathe with natural light, and the layout flows toward central halls where the festival’s main practices unfold. Walking paths wind between mango groves and shaded courtyards, offering quiet places to rest between sessions.
For those who want to be closer to the land — closer to the people of nearby villages, closer to the unhurried tempo of an Indian countryside — Svasti offers something Sattva does not. The same sacred field, experienced from a different angle of the earth.
Param Campus
Param sits adjacent to Sattva Campus, sharing the same hilltop setting and the same view of the Vellikonda hills, but offering an entirely different style of stay. Accommodation here takes the form of traditionally designed cottage huts — village-styled dwellings inspired by the vernacular architecture of rural Andhra, built with natural materials and an honesty of form that belongs to the land itself.
Each hut is simple, grounded, and quiet — designed to dissolve the distance between guest and earth. For seekers drawn to the tactile beauty of village life, to small cozy spaces and hand-finished walls, to waking with the soft sounds of the countryside, Param offers a sacred immersion of its own. The same field of grace as Sattva, met through the texture of an older way of living.

From Either Airport to Sattva, Svasti, Param, or Ekam
Pre-paid Ekam shuttles operate between both Chennai International Airport and Tirupati Airport to all campus locations — Sattva, Svasti, Param, and Ekam Temple. Please book at least 72 hours in advance.
To organise your transport from either airport to any of the campuses, write to [email protected].
India e-Tourist Visa
Eligible foreigners from over 160 countries can obtain an Indian e-Tourist Visa through the official portal at indianvisaonline.gov.in. This visa category expressly permits attendance at short cultural or yoga-style courses such as Ekam programmes.
Apply at least four days before departure: upload a passport photo and data page, pay the fee online, and the Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) is typically emailed within 72 hours. Print the ETA and present it with the same passport — valid for at least six months and containing two blank pages — at immigration.
Officials stamp the visa and allow a stay of up to 90 days per visit (180 days for US and UK citizens on longer visas). Visitors must show a return or onward ticket and proof of sufficient funds. No FRRO registration is needed for e-Tourist stays under 180 days.
Because visa-on-arrival is offered only to a few nationalities, securing the e-Visa in advance is essential for smooth entry.
India e-Arrival Card
Complete India’s new e-Arrival Card (digital disembarkation card) online up to 72 hours before your flight at boi.gov.in, indianvisaonline.gov.in, or via the Su-Swagatam mobile app.
Enter your passport and visa or ETA numbers, flight and arrival date, Indian address, local phone or email, and an emergency contact. Submit and download or screenshot the QR-coded confirmation. The form is automatically linked to the immigration system but should still be shown on request.
Failure to present a filed e-Arrival Card can delay clearance — airlines may deny boarding if the submission receipt is missing at check-in.
Beyond the Festival
Places worth visiting if you extend your stay.
Lokaa Foundation’s World Village Tour
A half-day immersion into Krishnapuram, India’s first sustainable model village in the Eastern Ghats. The 320-resident community demonstrates eco-friendly homes, mud-brick kilns, and leaf-plate micro-industries.
Guided walks reveal rain-water harvesting, organic farming, and zero-waste systems. Visitors meet artisans, explore the knowledge centre, and join hands-on eco-soap workshops with village youth.
Ubbalamadugu (Tada) Falls
Approximately 40 minutes by road from Sattva Campus, near the Nirvana Campus base. From the entry point, a forest trek leads up to the source — ending at a natural swimming pool fed by the falls.
Pulicat Lake Bird Sanctuary
Winter flamingo sightings, with the best viewing season between January and February.
Tirumala Venkateswara Temple
Perched atop the seven Seshachalam hills at 853 metres — one of Hinduism’s most visited pilgrimage sites, dedicated to Lord Venkateswara (Balaji).
Its Dravidian architecture, gold-plated Ananda Nilayam vimana, and soaring gopurams were enriched by Pallava, Chola, and Vijayanagara patronage. Millions queue for darshan and the legendary laddu prasadam.
