In Vedic astrology, a Rashi is one of the twelve thirty-degree segments of the zodiac belt — the apparent path of the Sun, Moon, and planets across the sky.

Each Rashi works like a cosmic container. It colours the energy of any planet placed within it, shaping personality tendencies, emotional patterns, and life themes. In Hindu practice, the position of the Moon at the moment of birth determines your Janma Rashi, your birth sign.

Every life begins at a unique moment, shaped by karma and vasanas. Your Janma Rashi, Lagna, and Nakshatra reflect this moment, and every Janma Rashi has a presiding deity. For generations, devotees have offered prayers to their Janma Rashi Devata, seeking blessings, protection, and relief from Rashi Doshas.

Do you know your Janma Rashi Devata?
Have you ever offered them your prayers?
Where can you find them?

About Rashi Vanam

Rashi Vanam is an energised sacred forest at Ekam, established as a living space of divine presence, blessings, and grace.

For the first time, all twelve Rashi Devatas — the archetypal energies of the twelve Rashis — have been brought together in one place, offering a single focal point for worship and for dosha nivaran.

Each Rashi Devata is the guardian of the life-themes their sign governs. Offerings made at a particular Sannidhi ask for balance and blessings in exactly those areas of life.

Created to help devotees clear Rashi Doshas, dissolve obstacles, and open the pathways of abundance, this forest is a rare spiritual sanctuary where the grace of the Devatas flows freely and continuously. As you walk amidst these sacred Sannidhis, you enter an atmosphere charged with devotion, shakti, and divine grace.

Understanding Rashi Dosha

A Rashi imbalance can arise at any point in life, and it rarely announces itself as an imbalance. It is felt as a season that will not turn.

Where imbalances come from

  • Current planetary transits, or gochara, activating weak or afflicted areas of your chart.
  • Karmic patterns carried from past births, known as Janma Karma.
  • Ancestral and family karmic influences.

How they are usually felt

  • Health that does not hold, or recurring illness.
  • Delays in opportunities, and in marriage.
  • Financial obstacles and repeated losses.
  • Other crises and obstacles that keep returning in the same shape.
