Your Tapas Journey
Begins in Sedona
Facts, Resources & Preparation Guide
Namaste,
Welcome, and congratulations on taking this sacred step. You are about to embark on one of the most profound inner journeys of your life — six days of Tapas, guided by Enlightened Masters Sri Preethaji and Sri Krishnaji, in the heart of one of the world's most powerful energetic landscapes: Sedona, Arizona.
Sedona is not merely a beautiful destination. It is a place where the earth itself seems to breathe differently — where ancient red rock formations rise like silent temples, and the air carries a stillness that supports deep inner transformation. Coming here for Tapas is no accident.

Airports & Transportation
Sedona sits in the heart of Arizona's high desert, surrounded by the Coconino National Forest. There is no commercial airport in Sedona itself — here is how to get here from wherever you are in the world.
The most convenient gateway to Sedona, with the widest range of domestic and international flights, competitive fares, and plentiful car rental options. Drive north on I-17, then take AZ-179 North into Sedona — a scenic and straightforward route.
The geographically closest commercial airport — a beautiful 40-minute drive south through Oak Creek Canyon to Sedona. However, flight options are limited (connections typically route through Phoenix or Dallas), and February snowfall can occasionally affect access. Best for travellers connecting from DFW or DEN.
The most flexible option. All major agencies are available at PHX. Pick up your car at the terminal's rental centre and enjoy the scenic 2-hour drive through the Sonoran Desert and Verde Valley. Sedona requires a car for exploring — this is the preferred approach.
Groome Transportation operates a shared shuttle from Phoenix Sky Harbor directly to Sedona hotels. Book in advance — seats fill up, especially on weekends. Journey time approximately 2.5–3 hours including stops. Ideal if you prefer not to drive.
Several Sedona-based companies offer private door-to-door transfers from PHX. A more comfortable option, especially for later arrivals. Pre-book through your hotel concierge or search "Sedona private airport transfer." Approximate cost: $150–$220 one way.

Daily Programme Schedule
Explore the Sacred Land of Sedona
Sedona is considered one of the most energetically potent landscapes on Earth. Known internationally for its spiritual vortex sites, it is no coincidence that your Tapas journey takes place here. Arrive a day early or stay after — this land has much to offer.
Your backyard during Tapas. Bell Rock is a revered vortex site — an easy-to-moderate trail circling the base, with options to ascend higher. Sunrise and golden hour here are deeply moving. Just minutes from the hotel on foot.
One of the most photographed sunsets on Earth. Cathedral Rock's reflection in Oak Creek is an iconic Sedona image. The trail is moderate and takes about 45 minutes to the saddle. Best visited in late afternoon.
Pink Jeep Tours are Sedona's most famous outdoor experience — off-road adventures through formations inaccessible on foot. Helicopter tours give a breathtaking bird's-eye view of the entire red rock landscape.
Sedona's iconic arts and crafts village — a maze of galleries, hand-crafted jewellery, ceramics, and Southwestern art set in a beautiful hacienda-style complex. One of the finest art villages in the American Southwest.
Sedona has strict dark-sky ordinances limiting light pollution. On a clear February night, the Milky Way is visible to the naked eye. The hotel grounds offer a remarkable stargazing experience, or drive to a viewpoint away from town.
The Sinagua people inhabited this canyon country 1,000 years ago, leaving behind remarkable cliff dwellings and pueblo ruins. Tuzigoot National Monument is 30 minutes away; Palatki Heritage Site preserves sacred rock art.
Sedona is world-famous for its energy vortexes — places where the Earth's electromagnetic field is believed to be particularly concentrated and conducive to healing, meditation, and spiritual awareness. Whether or not you are drawn to the metaphysics, spending quiet time at these sites during your Tapas stay deepens the experience of what you are doing in the programme hall. Each vortex has a distinct quality of energy — some are expansive and uplifting; others are quieting and introspective.
Dining at the Resort & Nearby
The resort's signature restaurant serving Southwestern-inspired cuisine with seasonal ingredients. Beautiful patio seating with red rock views. A convenient, comfortable choice for all meals during the programme.
Casual poolside dining for lighter fare, snacks, and beverages. Perfect for a relaxed midday break between sessions when the weather allows.
Located within the spa, the Compass Café offers light, nourishing options — ideal for a healthy breakfast, energy snack, or herbal tea during your Tapas retreat days.
One of Sedona's most beloved restaurants — celebrated Mexican-inspired cuisine with local ingredients. Known for its corn dishes, seasonal menu, and warm atmosphere. Reservations strongly recommended.
A Sedona institution since the 1950s — beloved for its extraordinary breakfast menu including over 101 omelette varieties. Open from early morning. A perfect destination before or after a sunrise walk at Bell Rock.
A highly regarded Thai restaurant in the Village of Oak Creek, just minutes from the hotel. Excellent for a light, nourishing dinner — vegetarian and vegan options available.
Enjoy all your meals during the programme without any logistical worry. The food package covers breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the full six days — nourishing, convenient, and one less thing to think about while you are in Tapas.
